Customer Experience Officer (1-year internship)


Christoph, Eric, and 36 cacao farmers from Peru founded the social business ‘Choba Choba’ in 2015. Choba Choba is the first Swiss chocolate company, which is co-owned by cacao farmers. Our team in Bern works closely together with the farmers from Peru to revolutionize the chocolate industry by rendering it more sustainable. Become part of our chocolate revolution!


Tech savvy and passionate for e-commerce, online communities and social media, you will contribute to make Choba Choba’s customer journey and experience unique and unforgettable from A to Z. Under the management of Co-founder Eric Garnier, and in close cooperation with the Digital Marketing Manager and the Communication Manager, the Customer Experience Officer is responsible for :

  • Manage backend/frontend of our website to ensure optimal customer experience
  • Coordinate the design, development, testing and “go-live” of new pages/products/services/offers/features
  • Lead and manage the collaboration with IT partners and web developers
  • Collect/organize data, produce KPIs reports to support digital marketing decision
  • Publish on our social media accounts and blog according to the com/mkg planning
  • Ensure and monitor engagement with our community and quality of our publications
  • Respond to comments, messages and customer queries in three languages: GE, FR, EN, in a friendly, professional and timely manner
  • Responsible for the customer service tool (Zendesk)and process


  • University Degree, main focus on IT and e-commerce
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Languages: Professional in German, French and English
  • Up-to-date with digital technology and social media trends
  • Creative and keen to learn (fast !)
  • At ease in a fast changing start-up environment
