The Impact Advisory and Finance (IAF) Department was launched in 2017 and reports to the Group Chief Executive Officer. IAF is tasked with a new mandate to direct, coordinate and facilitate impact finance activities across Credit Suisse in order to advance the objectives of our private wealth, institutional and corporate clients.


  • Join the IAF department and serve as deputy to the Head of Green Solutions in the creation of this new business line at Credit Suisse
  • Assist in the origination and execution of green finance transactions for private and institutional clients across global asset classes. This will also include close collaboration with other business divisions
  • Contribute to the expansion of Credit Suisse's green bond portfolio (underwriting and issuance)
  • Drive business development in burgeoning green finance markets
  • Lead or participate in client discussions
  • Define the most appropriate financial structures for given situations and optimize deal teams across different business areas
  • You will be conducting diligence and providing advice on deal structuring and other technical issues with regards to transactions
  • Partner with clients, employees and other meaningful business partners and help educate them on the Bank’s green business initiatives which would help with the generation of future opportunities
  • The prospect to representing IAF at select industry conferences and events


  • MBA or equivalent degree with at least four years of relevant work experience, with established exposure to green finance
  • High academic achievement, preferably in sustainable/green finance
  • Aptitude to understand and interpret financial data sets
  • Excellent written and verbal language skills in German and English; any other language skills would be a benefit
  • Ability to work independently as part of a multi-location, high-profile team
  • Capability to meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment
  • Capacity to multi-task while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Proven leadership abilities and a passion to build up new business
